๐ I think autumn might just be my favourite time of year for dog walks.
I love watching the world change colour. The trees seem to put on a completely different show every year, with leaves in all sorts of shades of yellow, orange, red and brown. Add a few happy dogs running through them and honestly, I could take pictures all day. ๐พ๐
And then there’s the temperature. Not too hot, not too cold โ just that lovely crisp feeling where you can head out for a proper walk without worrying about the summer heat.
Maybe it’s also because summer always feels so busy. There’s so much going on, days out, holidays, plans, and somehow the weeks disappear before you know it.
Autumn feels different.
Everything seems to slow down a little. The air is cooler, the evenings are quieter and there’s something really lovely about taking your time on a walk and just being outside.
And of course, the dogs don’t care what season it is. They’ll still stop to investigate every smell, dive into the leaves and find the most exciting stick they’ve ever seen. ๐
But I think that’s part of what I love about walking dogs. They make you slow down and notice things you might otherwise rush past.
And while I’d love everyone to have the time to slow down and enjoy it, I know that’s not always possible. Work, family, children and all the other things life throws at us can make finding time for a proper dog walk surprisingly difficult.
So if life is feeling a little too busy at the moment, I’d be happy to give you a hand with the walks and make sure your dog still gets their own little autumn adventure. ๐ถ๐
