Here at Let’s Bork we feel it’s really important to give pet owners peace of mind during your time away from you pets. We do this by using the Doggy Logs App to track your pet’s activity during our visit.
Whether it’s a Pet Sitting Visit, a Solo Dog walk or Buddy Walk, the app offers a unique feature by tracking your dog’s walk position in real-time. Using GPS technology, the app logs the precise route and location of each pet, providing a detailed map of where your pet is or dog has been. This feature is especially suited for tracking outdoor exercise, ensuring your dog gets the right amount of activity, and helps verify the walk’s duration and distance. Whether we’re walking in a park or around the neighborhood, Doggy Logs captures the path taken.
The Doggy Logs app allows pet sitters to easily track important details of your pet’s day, including pictures, toilet habits, and personalized notes. Sitters can upload photos to document memorable moments . The app also records toilet habits, helping to detect any changes in routine or health. With space for additional notes, sitters can keep you informed on your pet’s mood, playtime, or any special needs.
How it works
There is no need for you to download the app. At the start of each session with your pet, you’ll receive an email notifying you that the session has begun. The email includes a direct link to the sitter’s app, where you can track the real-time updates about your pet’s walk, playtime, or other activities. You’ll be able to monitor progress, view photos, and stay informed about your dog’s behavior, even before the session has ended and all without having to install or manage any apps. This seamless experience ensures you’re always connected and in the loop while your pet is in trusted hands.
At the end of each session, the pet owner receives a follow-up email notifying them that the session has concluded. This email contains a detailed final report, offering a comprehensive summary of the session. It includes the path taken during the walk, displayed on a map, along with the session’s start time, duration, and distance covered. The report also tracks toileting habits, provides pictures that can be downloaded, and includes any important notes from the sitter. Owners can keep this report for their own records, ensuring they have a complete log of their pet’s activities and well-being for future reference.
