How to book as a New Client

1. Fill the Pre-Booking Form – This is the first step for all new clients. It helps us make sure we’re a good fit for you and your dog. Please fill it out carefully.

2. Fill the Book a Service Form – Once your pre-booking form is submitted, use this form to schedule your first session. For new clients, please select either:

  • Meet & Greet – to get to know you and your dog before the beginning of walks or visits.

  • Assessment + First Lesson – for dog training.

After you’ve booked, we’ll confirm your appointment and send any additional details you need.

🐾 Booking Basics

How far in advance should I book?
Slots can fill up quickly—especially during busy periods—so booking early is always a good idea if you have set plans.

Can I set up regular bookings?
Yes! Recurring walks are welcome and help keep your dog’s routine nice and steady, while securing your preferred time slot.

Can I change the time of my walk after it’s been booked?
If you need to adjust a booking, just let me know as soon as possible. I’ll always try to be flexible where I can, depending on the day’s schedule.

🌦️ Weather & Safety

Do walks go ahead in bad weather?
Yes! Walks still happen in wind, rain, and cold—your dog will even get towel-dried if they come home soggy. If the weather becomes unsafe (like during a heatwave, thunderstorm, or icy conditions), I’ll contact you to arrange a safe alternative or reschedule.

What if my dog has special needs or behaviour quirks?
No problem—just let me know when you book. I’m happy to adjust our routine to suit your dog’s comfort, energy levels, and any other individual needs.

🐶 During the Walk

Will I get updates about how the walk went?
Yes! I use the Doggy Logs app to send you notes, photos, and even GPS tracking for some walks. It’s like a little postcard from your pup’s day.

Do you offer solo or group walks?
I offer solo walks and buddy walks (where your dog is carefully matched with one suitable companion). No large group walks here—just calm, focused attention and a good time.

Can you feed my dog or give medication during a visit?
Of course! Just pop the details into your booking request and I’ll make sure to follow your instructions.

❌ Cancellations & Changes

What’s your cancellation policy?
If you need to cancel, please try to give at least 24 hours’ notice. I understand that life can be unpredictable and I’ll always do my best to be understanding.

Will I be charged if I cancel last minute?
Yes—if I arrive at your home and the walk or visit is no longer needed, the full fee will be charged. At that point, time and travel have already been committed.

What if you have to cancel?
On rare occasions—such as if I’m unwell or have an emergency—I may need to cancel. I’ll always let you know as soon as possible and, where I can, offer an alternative or refer you to another trusted local carer.
