š¾A Local Dog Walking Star Story

Meet our senior super pup! Our Dog Walking Star of November is Cleo!
When I first met this lovely lady, she was the cutest and fluffiest ball of energy! She was super friendly and we hit it off right away!
Breed: Yorkshire Terrier
Age: 13
Backstory: Cleo was born in Italy from her beautiful mum, Vicky. This gorgeous puppy and her mum got to live together and moved to Uk along with their family.
Personality: Don’t let her cute face fool you! This lady knows exactly what she wants and on walks she will let you know where she wants to go! However if it’s raining, she prefers to stay home – she is not equipped for swimming in muddy puddles!
Iāve had the pleasure of caring for Cleo for the past four years. When we first met, youād never have guessed her age ā she had energy to spare and always kept me on my toes. These days, sheās starting to slow down and enjoys a more relaxed pace on her strolls. But donāt be fooled into thinking sheās lost her spark! Her terrier side bursts through the moment a squirrel dares to cross our path. šæļøāØ

šA Special Story
Not long ago, Cleo hurt her leg and became nervous about using it. Even after the vet checked her over and gave the all-clear, she wasnāt convinced ā and refused to put weight on it.
For days she tiptoed around, and when she did finally get brave enough to use her leg again, the stairs were still too much. Worried she might be uncomfortable, maybe even starting with arthritis, I carried her up and down every time we went out. I thought this would become our new routine, weeks passing with me as her personal lift service.
Then one day, out of the blue, Cleo surprised me ā she trotted up the stairs on her own, as if nothing had ever happened! š¶šŖ
šWhy I Love Cleo
Cleoās real charm is in her calm nature. Aside from those spunky moments, sheās a very chilled-out dog who loves everyone she meets and makes friends with ease. Most of her days are now spent resting happily in her bed, shifting from cosy to relaxed until itās time for dinner or a gentle walk. š
